Smart Financial Consumer, Mortgage, and Commercial loans can be paid via our Smart Financial Website Payment Portal. The following loan types are excluded from this payment channel: Consumer Line of Credit, Commercial Line of Credit, Mortgage Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC).
The cost to make a payment via the Smart Financial Website Payment Portal is $3.00. You can submit payments through SFCU online banking to your SFCU loan free of charge.
The maximum payment amount is $10,000.
Yes, you can set up recurring payments via the Smart Financial Website Payment Portal.
You can schedule your loan payment up to 14 days prior to your loan due date.
You can pay up to three times (3 payment transactions) per month. If you attempt more than three payments in a 30-day period you will receive an error.
If you did a same day payment you may call 713-850-1600 to cancel your transaction that same day. If you did a future date payment you may log into the payment portal to cancel your transaction.
Loans out for repossession or under bankruptcy will be excluded from being able to pay.
No, there is not a dropdown option to designate how to apply the payment. All payments are submitted as “Regular Payments” (i.e. principal & interest).
No, if they already have an SFCU deposit account they can log into online banking to make the loan payment.
