Welcome to the New and Improved Virtual Branch
Here are a few important things to remember:
- When logging in for the first time, use your current Logon ID (usually your oldest account number) and use the last 4 digits of the Primary Owner’s Social Security Number as your Password. The system will then prompt you to create a new Password to use going forward. The new Password must be composed of at least 7 digits and must include at least one letter and one number.
- With one Logon ID, members will be given access to ALL of the various accounts they have with Smart Financial Credit Union, conveniently grouped under this one Logon ID. You no longer need to know all of your separate account numbers to access them individually.
- Joint Owners, requiring separate access, must create an individual Logon ID and password by clicking the Enroll Online link on the Virtual Branch sign-on page and completing the Online Enrollment form. You will need to know at least one of your current account numbers to enroll. It is important to note that there were some minor modifications to account numbers as part of the system upgrade. (Ex. If your Regular Share account number was 12345, suffix 0; your new account number is 1234500. If your checking account number was 12345, Suffix 7; your account number dropped the Suffix and stayed the same, 12345). Once the personal information that you entered on the enrollment form is validated, you will then be prompted to login to Virtual Branch for the first time. You will only be able to view those accounts that you have an ownership role on. Should your validation fail for any reason, please contact member services at 800-392-5084 for assistance.
- Once you have logged-in successfully, please take a moment to click on the Options link, in the upper-right-hand corner of your screen, to update your e-mail address. You may set up your SECRET QUESTION/PHRASE in this location as well. Taking a few moments to do this will assist you in the future should you forget your Virtual Branch Password.
- Online history is not available via Virtual Branch, as we did not convert history as part of the System Upgrade.
- Past e-statements are in the process of being converted and will be available by mid-July. Smart Financial will be providing paper copies of statements, free of charge, in the interim.
Attention Online Bill Payers:
Once you are logged in to Virtual Branch with your existing LOGIN ID, you will be able to click on the Bill Pay link to view the new and improved Online Bill Pay platform. Existing Bill Pay enrollments, as well as payees and scheduled payments, were converted under the primary owner/member’s LOGIN ID. If, as a joint owner, you were required to create a new LOGIN ID and password, you will need to create a new profile in BILL PAY and re-establish your payee and payment listing. Please take a moment to verify that all of your current Payees and Scheduled Payments carried over to the new platform correctly. Please report any issues that you may identify to Member Services at 800-392-5084.
